Lochiel Primary is a fantastic rural school with a very supportive community. We strive to give students every opportunity to succeed in all areas of school life. Lochiel focuses strongly on its school values of respecting ourselves, respecting others and respecting our environment, through making good choices.

Nestled 5 minutes from Winton, Lochiel students have the benefit of being part of a country lifestyle, as well as having the opportunities of town experiences. Pupils come from a wide variety of backgrounds and ethnicities and the school has a current decile ranking of 10.

Being a full primary school from Year 1 to 8 we work on the value of younger looks after older, which provides excellent leadership opportunities to the children.
